What can I use on a wooden bird house to keep it from weathering?

It is made out of wood and painted but I want it to last awhile and dont want the rain to rot it. What can i use and how much does it cost?

Spray it with a clear acrylic spray paint. Use several light coats. Make sure it is clean and dry before painting. They also sell a UV poly in a spray can which should protect it against the elements. These tend to yellow in the sunlight so if there is any white in the color use the acrylic.

Suet Bird Feeder

Suet Bird Feeder

A dull green bird with large red spots on his face, neck, back and tail, was in my suet feeder?

This bird may be 6.9 inches long dullish green throughout, with large red spots on the face, throat, and some in the back, etc. I do not really think this bird is wild because they do not seem to know how eat the fat ... looked more like a pet bird escape. I've never seen one like that before, and I can not find photos online that match your description. His call was a bit of a chat. Can anyone help me identify if it was wild or domestic? Oops - I live in lower Michigan. It also has a short tail and a short and wide "peak" that little can go up and down on his head. Definitely not a parrot, it is not a hookbill all - the beak is longer and thinner.

I did a brief search, and most birds are mostly green with red are either hummingbirds and parrots. Since there is obviously a hummingbird, there is good probability that it is a parrot. All parrots are hookbills. They have a distinctive beak shape. Since its not native parrots in Michigan, it is probably safe to assume that this is an animal escaped. Many parrots are mostly green with red. Your description sounds familiar ... Does the bird has a long tail or short tail? If I were you, I would see through Petfinders lost and found, and the category of domestic animals of Craigslist, and to see if someone in your area has lost a similar bird. If the bird is still in your area, I would leave out the sunflower seeds, and then try to catch the bird ... or at least have an idea. And if a pet lost, you might want to put a couple of ads yourself ... someone may be looking for the bird. *** I saw your photo editing. A little too blurry to see clearly beak, feet or tail, which would be really useful. If the beak is long and light in color, it looks like a bearded. If so, has no place in Michigan. Electrical - First year engineering?

1. A resistance of 2.2 ohms is made of nichrome wire. If the cable is available in 1 / 32 inch diameter, how much wire is needed? ** The answer is 3.58ft, I just need the operation ** 2. The resistance of copper wire is 0.92 ohms at 4 ° C. What temperature is 1.6 ohms? ** The answer is 40.3 ° C, operating only ** 3. A 600-volt generator is located at 1,500 feet away from your cargo. The load consists of two heaters of 10 kilometers, three other 4-hundred horsepower and 100 watts of light. If the drop voltage feeders copper did not exceed 5%, calculate the minimum size required. ** The answer is # 0, the operation need **

1. Resistivity, p, Nichrome Resistance is 150E-8, R = pL / A Area A * pi = (D ^ 2) / 4 = pi * (1 / 32) ^ 2 / 4 = 7.67E-4 Therefore, length, L = AR / p = 2.2x7.67E-4/150E-8 = 1.125 inches Unless the resistivity of nichrome is different from what I used in the calculation, the answer is above. 2. For the second part, The formula is complex to be in this place. Check out the link below for the calculation, using copper as the coefficient of 3.9E-3

Blue Bird

Naruto Blue Bird - FULL SONG Subbed

My cat died the blue bird just laid eggs?

A bird has a bird's nest in a house that I have had four eggs out and in it ... my cat killed him and took him to the door facing 3 days ... I'm still there looming on the eggs, and realized that two missing ... Where do you go the only thing that can fit into that hole is a bird, and how could it be another bird eggs ... can not carry an egg in its beak, you might ... Is there something that can go on the 2 eggs that are still there?

The eggs can not surrvive in a nest of a bird without a mother to keep warm. Please dispose of your bird house, if you have an outdoor cat. What has just happened again and again. Outdoor cats have severe damage to U.S. bird population. (And unnecessary competition with the animals that really need to eat these birds to survive) is not to blame your cat's natural instinct is to kill, but it is unfair for wildlife. A house cat killing a bird for fun is much different from a native predator to kill the bird to eat. I'm sure not going to like this answer at all, and sorry, but it makes me very sad that so many birds die without reason. We all have to be responsible for maintaining our wonderful world!

Bird House Wood

How to Make a Bird Feeder : Attaching Hinges to Bird Feeder

How to stick to wood?

How could I say some glue to 12 inches and 6 2x4 blocks together to make them twice as long. I'm going to rip into 1x4 to make bird houses and other small things. I wonder what would be the best and easiest method to connect to get longer. We, of true! What kind of joint cabinet I can use? I am speaking as end to end

wood glue and clamps work if the wood is already planned. Of course it would need long tweezers if you are trying to glue them together for more length. An easy way to do this without using tweezers is to get some bolts of your local rail of the ladder. These cost a few dollars each and you need a drill. Your local ladder company should be able to explain how to use them. We use them to connect sections of rail together when necessary. You have to remove the wood 1 "x 4" before the bolts together. Once tightly bound together, filling the cracks with wood putty and fill the drill holes with plugs or outlets download button mushrooms. Another way to do this which can be cheaper would be to use wooden pegs instead of rail bolts. I recommend using at least 3 per joint. Still needed a drill. You also need wood glue. I want to extract the wood first, then drill the holes evenly spaced on both ends to be joined. It is important that the holes are aligned. Add a little glue into the holes and insert the studs, then fasten the wood together until the glue dries (usually overnight is a long time). Of course, this method will cost you more if you need to buy calipers 3.2 feet long. Good luck with your project.
