Single Panel
is it bad if a commercial 120/240 single phase panel has 30 amp breakers feeding all the lights?
30 amp is the smallest size. they also spark whenever they trip and i have to turn them back, they arc pretty bad. i am scared of that panel. this is for a small store.
the 60 amp 240v oven breakers are the ones tripping, whenever i reset, they arc and trip again. i turned the oven off before re setting them.
traditionally lights in commercial are installed using 20 amp ckts if it is single phase. it sounds like a really old load center poorly maintained and or installed.
