If I burn incense in my room will it set my fire alarm off?
I have a really high tech fire alarm thing in my room, which calls the fire department automatically when it goes off. Only one in my house has ever gone off, but that was when we actually had a small fire. There's one in all the rooms of my house, and sometimes the whole kitchen gets all smoky when I cook and it doesn't go off. But if I burn incense like 15 feet away from it will it set it off? I really don't wanna waste the fire department's time.
Depends, really. Incense and smoke both contain different chemicals and things...So it depends how clever the alarm is.
