What else can I put in my gerbil cage? =)?
I'm looking for things to put in my gerbil cage. It's this one-

The platforms can be removed to give more space and I've got a hay rack for their bedding, as well as a wooden log in the tank itself.
I work in a pet shop but we don't do a lot of original stuff for gerbils, it's frustrating.
And I gave them a wheel and all they did was poo in it, so I took it out.
And I give them toilet tubes daily- I get them from work. I was hoping for something more original, not store-bought.
They have NO idea how to use a sandbath. It's funny. They get in there and sleep. They have no idea on earth to use it, so I kind of gave up after about five times.
Hm, I may try and find a flower pot and clean it out well and put it in there...They just nest under the sawdust right now.
They LOVE those cardboard toilet paper rolls. They are okay for them to shred and play in and easy to clean up and replace, not to mention, cheap! Have fun.
