How to Make a Bird Feeder : Attaching Hinges to Bird Feeder
How to stick to wood?
How could I say some glue to 12 inches and 6 2x4 blocks together to make them twice as long. I'm going to rip into 1x4 to make bird houses and other small things. I wonder what would be the best and easiest method to connect to get longer. We, of true! What kind of joint cabinet I can use? I am speaking as end to end
wood glue and clamps work if the wood is already planned. Of course it would need long tweezers if you are trying to glue them together for more length. An easy way to do this without using tweezers is to get some bolts of your local rail of the ladder. These cost a few dollars each and you need a drill. Your local ladder company should be able to explain how to use them. We use them to connect sections of rail together when necessary. You have to remove the wood 1 "x 4" before the bolts together. Once tightly bound together, filling the cracks with wood putty and fill the drill holes with plugs or outlets download button mushrooms. Another way to do this which can be cheaper would be to use wooden pegs instead of rail bolts. I recommend using at least 3 per joint. Still needed a drill. You also need wood glue. I want to extract the wood first, then drill the holes evenly spaced on both ends to be joined. It is important that the holes are aligned. Add a little glue into the holes and insert the studs, then fasten the wood together until the glue dries (usually overnight is a long time). Of course, this method will cost you more if you need to buy calipers 3.2 feet long. Good luck with your project.
